Haricots Verts

½ onion

12oz French green beans

½ lbs bacon

1 c grape tomatoes

1 clove garlic


Blanch the green beans in highly salted water for 1 minute, then transfer to bowl of ice water, when cool set on a per towel lined plate

In a sauté pan render bacon until nice and crisp and transfer to plate. In the rendered fat cook onions till soft then add garlic, after 125 seconds add green beans and tomatoes heat through and add bacon mix well and season and serve.
