A Message From Chara

Welcome to our urbanCHEF Newsletter relaunch! It has been a while since I’ve sent a newsletter and quite a lot has changed. We want to give you an opportunity to get to know us as a team, answer your questions and keep you posted about our events around Houston and beyond. We also want you to be the first to know about upcoming classes, new menus and new services that we offer.

As I reflect on the ways that urbanCHEF has changed since we moved to Greenway Plaza 7 years ago a lot of the change has come from us as a city and you as our guests! Certainly, our menus have adjusted to our national trends of learning to cook and enjoy a wider range of vegetables and a wider range of cuisines. We have gotten to know guests from so many backgrounds locally and internationally in a beautiful reflection of the diversity of Houston! As you have shared with us your love for food, your traditions, your new discoveries and most of all your friendship we are continually enriched and excited to share in your lives. From the joys of your corporate teams competing to create the most impressive appetizer to the magic of hosting your child’s birthday party these are the moments our team looks forward to each day!

Stay tuned! This April and May we are launching our Spring Lunch Menus. If you are looking for a shorter, lighter event for your team we’d love to host you for a lunch class with optional breakfast meeting. Enjoy a delicious, hands-on lunch menu inspired by bright spring flavors and still have time to check back in at the office if needed.

Summer Camps begin the first week of June and this summer elementary aged kids have the option of double sessions – easier on your schedule and more cooking fun!
