Chocolate Chip Cookies

Makes 18 to 24 cookies


1/2 c unsalted butter, softened

1/2 c sugar

1/2 c brown sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1 egg

1 1/2 c flouor

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/4 tp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1 cup chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 375F.


Cream the butter with the sugars until light and fluffy. Add the vanilla and egg and mix to combine. Combine the dry ingredients and add to the butter mixture until incorporated. Add the chocolate chips and stir to distribute evenly.


Drop by heaping spoonfuls onto a parchment lined baking sheet. Bake for about 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Allow to cool before serving.
